Meet Laryssa

Hello fellow bloggers! 

My name is Laryssa and I am a craft-aholic! I teach full time and also have a side business called Simply Sweets making wedding cakes, cupcakes and cakes for any event possible. But I craft when I can!

            I got married in March 2012 to an amazing man named Nick, who I simply call "The Husband". Come June 2013 we are expecting our first little one and are frantically trying to figure out how this all works.

           As far as crafting goes, I LOVE everything. I come from a very crafty family and picked up on it early on in life. I love everything from scrap-booking, refurbishing, upcycling, DIY projects and of course baking! I also come from a frugal family, my mother (as well as my siblings) have always believed in spending wisely and making due, in other words why pay a fortune for a cookie cutter piece of furniture when you can inexpensively make your own unique and custom work of art!? There is nothing better than waking up early on a Saturday morning to go hunting for great deals and good finds!

            In my posts to come I am going to be covering everything from tasty new recipes, refurbishing my dining room table, making jewelry boards, elegant cake stands, LOTS of baby projects and etc. I am so excited to share my ideas with you and get your feedback! This is going to be a blast!
